Damp conditions were expected to linger along large portions of the state's eastern regions this coming days as a weather pattern continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.

Tuesday was forecast to be the most rainy day, with persistent severe weather risk expected across multiple regions of both states.

Public health experts alerted that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the northern rural areas, specifically given the ongoing climate situation.
